An orchestra performer, Tara has been principal player for an ever-increasing number of orchestras, including:

Tara has performed with Liza Minelli's orchestra at Saratoga Performing Arts Center, performed with Johnny Mathis and has been a member of the orchestra performing with The Irish Tenors.

Harp Lessons

Professional Harpist, Tara Alterman is currently accepting new students at her studio in Western Massachusetts and is available in Western and Northwestern Connecticut. She teaches at Mount Holyoke College and has served as Professor of Harp at several universities. Tara has 15 years of private instruction experience and can accommodate students from novice to budding professional.
